Personal struggles with addiction and sexual abuse. Recovery and turning anger into positive energy and breaking free from struggle! The three piece comprise of Chris Constantinou, who has been part of Adam Ant’s band (including performing at Live Aid!), Jenna Dickens who has provided vocals for Basement Jaxx and Bunni Morretto, previous runner up for Miss Burlesque UK in 2018 who is the visual element of the band. Issue 78!!!

First up happy new year!  Oh and for those of us in the UK, happy lockdown part 3, which is pretty much just tier 4 for all.  So last year was tough to get the zine out, but this year we’re going to start things off with a new issue right away… issue 78 is released today!

A special edition of the zine, you know I like to mix things up every now and then.  Basically I watch a lot of movies, some good ones and to be honest a lot of shite ones too.  The first lockdown started on March 23rd here in the UK.  I started working from home the week before so from March 16th, I have documented every film I’ve watched.  I wondered if I could get a zine out of it… nine months later I am working on the fourth volume of lockdown movies!  So issue 78 is part 1 of the movies I’ve watched since being sent to work from home!  It’s silly, but it’s fun.

If you are at all interested in this issue of the zine then you can pick one up from our shop here: https://www.lightsgoout.co.uk/?product=lights-go-out-issue-78

Issues 79-82 are also finished and will be out soon, a couple of weeks gaps between issues I imagine.  But… if you are at all interested we’re doing a bundle deal, get all of the next 5 issues 78/79/80/81 & 82 with badges, a random CD, stickers (if we can find any on the shelf) now for a bundle deal which is here: https://www.lightsgoout.co.uk/?product=lights-go-out-2021-lockdown-bundle-uk-only

Might interest some of you…. the 5 issues are three specials and two regular issues of the zine.

Oh issue 83 is ready for copying.  issue 84 is almost finished, just the last few bits to go as well.  As for 85 and 86 – both are being worked on…

    Issue 76 is here!!!

Finally issue 76 is released today!  It’s been ready for a few months now and it’s great to finally have it out for you lot to check out.

Featuring Riviera Kid, Abrazos, Princess, Sour Dough, AEA Zine, Cernunnous, Columns, music reviews & live reviews (yes really!).  Features by Teddy FourLegs on Scottish Punk, Devin talks Goregrind and John H talks vegan junk food. Marv @ the Flicks this time talks of the classic 80’s sci-fi movie, Krull.

That’s quite a line up right there, great it’s out at long last.  It’s been a shitty time this year, the zine hasn’t been released as often as we would have liked, but issues 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82 and 83 are all finished!  84 and 85 are also almost finished.  We just need to get them printed and released.

If you’d like to pick a copy of issue 76 up, it’s available now from the store here: https://www.lightsgoout.co.uk/?product=lights-go-out-issue-76
