Here at Lights Go Out we’re always looking for ways to challenge ourselves and also to keep the zine interesting. As I’m sure you’ve seen, in the past we have released special editions of the zine (colouring book, Star Wars Edition, year reviews, 24 hour issues and more) and we’re looking at the future plans for what we’re doing. We’ve decided that 2017 is going to be a busy year for the zine and we’re going to try something a bit different this time.
The crazy idea we have is that we’re going to try and ensure we bring a new issue out every single month!
So yes, that’s 12 issues of Lights Go Out on the planning table for next year. We’ve already started working on the contents and have some cracking stuff already sorted. The plan will be a 20/24/28 page zine every single month! But, to make this happen we’d love to get some people involved. Either with writing a column, some reviews, sending in anything we can print (interviews for example or a tour report) would be amazing! And also any of you out there who feel like you’d be up for designing us a front cover – that would be awesome. If you feel like you’d be up for getting involved, we would love to hear from you. We’re keen to make this stupid idea happy next year, do please help the editor’s sanity….
Oh and we have some sweet new badges in stock too….
