The second single from the new NOBODYS record, Hussy, “Joe Queer Kicked Me Out,” have premiered at For The Love Of Punk!
The title says it all, doesn’t it? “Joe Queer Kicked Me Out” is a tongue-in-cheek, snark filled anthem about the the incident that saw JJ Nobdy was fired from being the touring bass player for THE QUEERS mid tour in 2005.

Nobodys and The Queers have had a long time relationship, with Joe Queer producing the first Nobodys LP, Short Songs for Short Attention Spans. The two bands often toured together during the 90’s, while both on Hopeless Records. Nobodys members often filled in for Queers members who could not tour, an early instance of Nobodys filling in for The Queers was documented on the 1997 seven inch EP, “Queers For A Day Nobodys For Life.”
Even though JJ may have been kicked out, Nobodys and The Queers still have a close relationship. Founding member, Justin “Lurch” Disease (who has “retired” from actively playing music), was a long time touring drummer with The Queers. Both bands often perform together in Colorado and they also toured the east coast together last year!
“Joe Queer Kicked Me Out,” is the second single from Hussy, the band’s first record since 2001’s Less Hits More Tits. Hussy comes out November 4th on Rad Girlfriend Records & D-Tour Records. The current line up for Hussy includes original members JJ Nobody (Drag The River), Randy “The Kid” Schumacher; along with newcomers Adam Huscher and Steve Bauer (Buck O Nine/Drag The River). It was recorded at Denver’s Black in Bluhm Studios with Chris Fogal (The Gamits) at the helm.
The band will have an album release show at JJ Nobody’s bar, The Triple Nickel Tavern in Colorado Springs on October 29th with Ray Carlisle from Teenage Bottlerocket will be performing acoustic at the release show. Limited Midwestern tour dates, including shows with The Mr. T Experience will follow.
