South coast singer-songwriter, Jimmie Chills is set to release his debut album, One Day, on Sunday, 27th November 2016.
Jimmie has spent the last few years touring the festival circuit with various bands and has become a regular at Glastonbury and BoomTown Fair with his foot-stomping, rockabilly/blues/punk fusion band, The Catratchers.
Now embarking on a long overdue solo career, Jimmie’s debut album One Day was (as the name suggests) was recorded in one take and one day at Grand Central Studios in London earlier this summer. The album features a collection of songs that Jimmie has been working on over the past few years whilst he’s been honing his skills as a singer-songwriter. Taking influence from artists such as Nick Drake and Elliott Smith, the album has a mellow and almost haunting sound that accompanies his songs, captivating audiences with intelligent progressions, deeply personal lyrical content and a unique, raw and emotive vocal sound.
